My name is Zack and I am an academic scientist and programmer.

This site has my notes on interesting recent science and my adventures in coding and art (which often overlap) and sometimes my thoughts on other projects.

I’ve made other sites, including a list of my open-source projects, my academic page, my "smart" Raspberry Pi projects, essays on afrofuturism, book suggestions, music suggestions, movie suggestions and a recursive recipe cookbook.
